Sylvan Garden is a locally-owned & ecologically-conscious organic gardening & landscaping company serving the New Orleans community. Our aim is to provide our clients with garden & landscape services that go beyond the generic & environmentally unsustainable spray-rev-spray garden outfits, offering them the ability to choose elegance, quality, value, & a sound ecology without having to sacrifice one for the others. We emphasize good stewardship of our clients’ gardens & of our ecosystem. Accordingly, we embrace a policy that eschews synthetic chemicals & fossil fuels in favor of natural permacultural methods employing native species planting, organic fertilization & pest & weed control, & classic motorless hand tools. Our specialties are beds & grasses, reel mowing, full-service lawn & garden maintenance, & seasonal preparation. Sylvan Garden, as well-tended & healthy as one of our gardens, is poised to continue thriving for long to come.
